Thank you for your interest in joining the Junior League of Panama City.   

We will hold a New Member Open House on May 11, 2017 for the 2017-2018 league year.  

Are you interested in getting involved?

Our active membership consists of approximately 125 women who possess the following…

  • Interest in Volunteerism
  • Commitment to Community Service
  • Interest in Developing Leadership Potential
  • Working with other women to create positive community change
  • Insight into community needs and strategies for solutions
  • Access to community leaders, new friends, and creative ideas.
  • Exposure to creative strategies in problem solving and administration of a non-profit organization.

The Junior League of Panama City, Inc. provides its’ membership with training for effective community leadership, including advocacy, community research, fundraising, finance, leadership, public relations, and personal development.

Admissions Requirements

The league uses the following criteria for consideration of candidates for membership:

  1. Residence: The candidate at the time of her application must be either a resident of Bay County or working in Bay County.
  2. Age: A candidate must reach her 21st birthday by June 30 of the fiscal year in which she is applying for membership.
  3. Character: Candidates shall posses the following: Interest in Volunteering, Commitment to Community Service, Interest in Developing Her Potential for Voluntary Community Participation.
  4. Application: Admission applications may be obtained at any time from the New Member Committee, VP of Membership, or the website. Deadlines and requirements for current membership will be listed on the application.
